7/1/09: Conclave Video submitted to Crimson for Review An edited version of our routine has been submitted to Crimson for review. I'll keep you posted as to whether or not we are accepted into this years Great Circle. A big thank you to everyone who participated in the filming. 4/20/09: The City of Torrance Denies Park Permit After a series of meetings, phone calls and a formal written proposal, the City of Torrance denied our request to permit the basketball courts at Charles Wilson Park as a practice area for Fire Performers. Senior Management Associate Jay Scharfman and Capt. Bob Gebel with the Torrance Fire Marshals office denied the proposal, citing that "the city of Torrance does not condone fun."
2/15/09: Park Permit Request Submitted to Torrance Parks and Recreation We are currently working with the Parks and Recreation Department as well as local Fire Marshals trying to secure a park in Torrance where we can hold practices and weekly spin jams. We will keep you updated as we know more. Please check back for further updates. |
